Who do talk? Do they hear you or talk about themselves?
How quickly they have grasped your business? You are not only products, but also your market?
They can write passionately? Whatever? Even dullest product? If they like you get the sprocket valves, in place of their wages!
Are they working in the media industry and selected? If not, whether they are working other shows they have the market you?
When you have selected a suitable copywriter, you’ll know you make the right choice when you start to offer feedback. Professional copywriters develop the constructive criticism - it’s a surefire way to know they’re in the right direction. That does not mean that they will roll over and accept any changes made, but they will remain open mind and listen to every viewpoint.
When you give feedback, but you will see as a two-way street. You may need to release some of your preconceptions. Great copywriters can realize why your marketing does not work at this time, and will not shirk from telling you. They will become a kind of cruel.
But for now, small steps must protect you against hiring the wrong person. Of course there is no guarantee - with the demands of creativity which is very natural element of uncertainty.
